Gentlemen:
4 This is in response to your letters dated November 3,1980, January 6, and February 6,1981 regarding your new laundry for contaminated clothing.
We have reviewed the appropriate pages Jf the revised " Fundamental Nuclear Material Control Plan" and have detemined that the proposed procedures are in accordance with good industrial practice and that their use will not endanger,the common defense and security and is otherwise in the public interest. Therefore, you may implement your procedures for operation of the contaminated clothing laundry, effective immediately.
It has been established that the enclosures to ycur latters dated November 3,1980, January 6, and Feoruary 6,1981 contain information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). Accordingly, pursuant to Section 2.790(d)(1), such information is deemed to be commercial or financial information within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be subject to disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
