Dear h*r. Grier:
The enclosed reports, one for Unit No.1 and one for Unit No. 2, are submitted in accordance with Supplement No. 3 of Reference (a) and constitute an update of our previous submittal, Reference (b), on this subject.
The enclosed reports include that Class lE equipment located in hazardous areas as previously defined and also that equipment necessary to bring the plant to a cold shutdown condition. Within the reports, we have provided details on corrective action for those components that do not appear to have adequate qualification data available.
Qualification information for installed TMI Action Plan equipment is detailed below:
a) Relief Valve Position Indication - We have received a draft of the qualification test report for comment from Technology for Energy Corporation. This will be reviewed and incorporated into the report.
b) Containment Water Level - The qualification test program for ITT Barton transmitters is scheduled for completion by September 1981.
khen the report is received and reviewed, the equipment will be incorporated into the report. When the remaining equipment is installed and credit is taken for the installation, we will again update the report.
In addition to the above, we have not yet completed our review of the new inside and outside containment radiation analyses. We now anticipate ccepletion by July 1,1981.
