Docket No. 50-412 IE Bulletin No. 80-23 Failures of Solenoid Valves Manufacturered by Valtor Engineering Corporation Gentlemen:
We have received IE Bulletin No. 80-23 which reported that Valcor Engineering Corporation (Valcor) has submitted 10CFR Part 21 Reports addressing failures of Valcor solenoid valves used at nuclear power facilities.
A review was performed by Stone G Webster and Westinghouse within their respective scopes of supply and it has been deter-mined that no Valcor valves are being supplied on Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 as of this date.
The manpower expended in review and preparation of this report required by this IE Bulletin is about five hours.
