There is nothing vrong with using a 3/32" diencter 2% thoriated l
tungsten electrode at 170 anps as used in the P.Q.E. because this electrode l
is good up to 250 a=ps on direct current, straight polarity (DCSP), but it conflicts with the specification and velding perc=cter table on pace 4.
