Maine Yankee Operational Quality Assurance Program
Dear Sir:
This letter is written to inform you that Maine Yankee plans to delay the response to your letter, Reference (b), until 30 days following the quality assurance meeting between our staffs.
Maine Yankee has been granted a meeting with the NRC to review the management changes approved in your letter, Reference (c); and discuss the 1
impending changes we believe are necessary in the reporting lines of the existing quality assurance program.
These discussions could significantly effect the scope of our response, and for this reason we foresee a delay in l
our response schedule.
