\\b-On December 8,1980, this Board issued an order granting a' stay of proceedings until the parties had an opportunity to review new Part 72 of 10 CFR to make additional filings, to request amended or additional contentions and to make any further discovery requests.
The Staff now requests that the order be amended, asserting that additional discovery requests cannot be made until this Board has ruled upon any new or amended contantions which the parties may l
request. Consequently, the Staff requests that motions for

additional discovery be deferred until 15 days after this Board has ruled upon any new or amended contentions. The Applicant objects to this delay.

Upon consideration the Board finds that the requested delay S
l is not warranted but that the parties ;hould know precisely what l
contentions will be subject to further discovery.
