Dear Board Members:
At the prehearing conference in this matter I indicated that the NRC Staff attorney would urge the technical staff to begin the examination of NEC0's documents at the Sheffield site on March 19, 1981. After conferring with staff, it does not appear that the requisite staff personnel are available to conduct discovery on that date. We have instead suggested to the Applicant that the examination of Applicant's documents begin five days later on March 24, 1981, at Sheffield, and continue later that week at NEC0's offices
-in Louisville, Kentucky, if time pennits.
We have asked the Applicant to concur in these arrangements and await its reply.
