SUBJECT:
SOURCE MATERIAL IMPORT LICENSE FOR TRANSNUCLEAR, INC.
IU80022 On December 23, 1980 Transnuclear, Inc. requested an extension of its import license SUI-1079 to July 31, 1985.
License No. SUI-1079 was issued in January 1975 for the import of unlimited quantities of uranium source material and the license has been extended through July 31, 1981.
For administrative purposes only, a new license, number IU80022, is being issued in place of the requested extension. The findings applicable to the previous license also apply to the new license.
The staff reconsnends the issuance of license IU80022 to supercede existing license SUI-1079.
