APPLICATION OF TEXAS UTILITIES S GENERATING COMPANY, ET AL S (Comanche Peak Steam Elect Ac S Station, Units 1 and 2) S ACORN'S MOTION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME IN WHICH TO RESPOND TO NRC STAFF'S FIRST SET OF INTERROGATORIES TO, AND REQUEST FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS FROM, INTERVENOR ACORN Pursuant to 10CFR 2.711, ACORN, Intervenor herein, moves -for an extension of time of thirty (30) days, until March 6, 1981, in which to file its answers to NRC Staff's First Set of Interrogatories To, and Request For the Production of Documents From, Intervenor ACORN. Said interrogatories were filed by the NRC Staff on January 19, 1981, and received by ACORN on January 23, 1981.

This extension of time is necessary in order for ACORN to properly respond to the NRC Staff's voluminous requests for information and production of documents, and to provide for necessary consultation with the other Intervenors in responding to those interrogatories relating to Consolidated e .

  • Since there has not yet been a date affixed for the hearings themselves to convene, this extension will not prejudice the rights of any party in these proceedings.

WHEREFORE , PREMISES CONSIDERED, ACORN hereby moves for an extension of time of thirty (30) days, until March 6, 1981, in which to file its answers to NRC Staff's First Set of Interrogatories to, and Request for the Production of Documents From, Intervenor ACORN.
