Dear Mr. Ahearne:
I understand that consideration is presently being given to the matter of restarting the undamaged nuclear reactor known as TMI-1.
From the information I have been given, it does not appear that any danger or harm would result from such reactivation, and certainly at this time we need to go forward -
as rapidly as possible with development and activation of nuclear power sources.
Many of us are quite tired oT"the much-publicized efforts of certain groups to put a stop entirely to the develop-ment of nuclear power sources, without offering any reasonable alternative.
Perhaps too few of us have spoken in support of nuclear power development.
I am sure that your Commissic.,n will give proper consideration to the present issue and hopefully it will be resolved as suggested herein.
