Dear Sir:

I've been watching to see what was going to happen with tn Three Mile Island nuclear units.

Nothing, sa far!

I understand the company is cleaning up the problem from Unit 2.

But why is Unit 1 being penalized?

I understand it has been i

updated and " corrected".

I have a son (and 3 grandchildren) at nearby York, Pa.--they heet with electricity and that delay is costing them a premium every n.mnth.

The NRC can clean uo its act and tell Metropolitan Edison anything else they need to do and get cn with using their power plant to the advantage of our country.

As one who has been watching the entire energy picture and trying for a balanced viewpoint, I'm convinced the need exists for nuclear power and it can be safely provided.

Lets get an with it.
