Cear Sir:

~ni This letter is in regards to restarting the 'I"tI-i nuclear clant.

Other than the failure (due. tore to oersonnel) at the "MI-2 clant, there is no question that the nuclear oower plant re-cord is an outstanding one and should be lauded.

Since the 7.II-i plant has been modified and the need of less foreign oil is looming because of Arab excessive increases, it would be in the best interest of this country to re-open the 2tI-i plant as soon as possible and also to get back into the groove and build more nuclear plants.

Living vithin 7 miles of one nuclear elsnt and within 90 miles of another nuclear plant does not affect my views on this critical natter.

Nuclear risk to my mind is less than many other risks confronted in today's modem f11.v,ing..
