f In order to meet the requirements outlined in Supplement il to the Safety Evaluation Report for Sequoyah Nuclear Plant for equipment survivability during a hydrogen bum, TVA will provide the following information by l
l May 31, 1981.
(t) New calculations using an improved methodology for the long term
~
containment atmosphere te geratures.
(2) An evaluation of the survivability of essential safety-related equipment using the short term equipment heatup calculational methods provided in our January 22, 1981, submittal, the long term containment environment calculations discussed above, and the available environ-mental qualification data for the applicable components.
(3) A schedule for conducting confirsatory tests on any essential ocaponent deemed to be not acceptable for operatics in the contairoent hydrogen burn environment. This sobedule will be ocasistent with the NRC's review required to meet the January 31, 1982, deadline.
