The TMI-I Restart Atomic Safety and Licensing Board and Counsel of Record Before responding to Mr. Dieckanp's December 1,1980 letter, we would like additional information from the Licensing Board and the parties.
We would appreciate your response to the following questions by February 12,.1981:
1.
The Licensing Board, after appropriate consultation with the parties, should provide us with its best estinate of the future schedule of the proceeding.
The response should include the projected dates for (a) concluding the evidenti-ary hearing; (b) filing of proposed findings of f act; and (e) issuance of the Board't decision.
2.
The parties (particularly the staff and Metropolitan Edison) should provide us with reports en the time by W.ich Metropolitan Edison could be expected to be in t.ompliance with each of the following items should such compliance be required ultimately for restart:
ta) the itens contained in the August 9,1979 (CLI-80-8,10 NRC 141) and March 6,1980 (CLI-80-5,11 NRC 408) Commission Orders; (b) the items relatt.aq t;c near term operating licenses contained in NUR?.G-0694, *TMI-Related Requirements for New Operating Licenses" i
