J. M. Farley Nuclear Plant - Unit 2 Concrete Masonry Walls Gentlemen:
Based upon Alabama Power Company's previous commitment to complete repairs on Farley Unit 2 - Case I and II walls prior to initial criticality and upon our current startup schedule, it is anticipated that the report on these activities required by I.E.Bulletin 80-11 will be submitted May 17, 1981.
Followi..g NRC review of this report, Alabama Power Company will resolve any discrepancies between staff criteria and the criteria being used in Alabama Power's current masonry wall effort to the satisfaction of the staff. Any required fixes that might result from such a resolution will be implemented prior to startup following the first refueling outage. None of the repairs currently being implemented preclude such additional fixes.
