STATUS REPORT FOR V. C. SUMMER NUCLEAR STATION -
WEEK OF 1/19/81 General There are now 16 open items in our review of this application. I am awaiting fomal inputs to close out some 25 other open items which have been completed to the satisfaction of the reviewers. The branches involved include Geosciences, Mechanical Engineering, Reactor Systems, Materials Engineering Instrumentation and Control Systems, Power Systems, Licensee Qualifications, Procedures and Test Review, Radiological Assessment, and Core Perfomance.
I was advised by ACRS that the subcomittee meeting will be held in Columbia, S. C. on February 26 and 27,1981. The subcomittee is comprised of the following ACRS members:

D. Moeller Mr. Ward S. Lawreski J. Ray (possible)
The consultants to the subcommittee that will attend the meeting include:

Resolution reached with applicant on GDC 51 3.
Meeting with A/D's and B/C's held by R. Tedesco to discuss the reviews of Summer, La Salle and San Onofre.
4 The joint IE/NRR management audit was rescheduled for 2/ 9-1 1 / 91.
Stonificant Events Scheduled for the Week of 1/19/81 1.
The applicant will have a full time representative at our offices until the SER is issued.
