EIG ROCK PCI'IT PIANT - WITEDRA'4AL OF REC.UEST FOR TECEHICAL SPECIFICATICUS CEA' IGE Consumers Power Co=pany vishes to withdrav submittal of the Request for Change to the Technical Specifications of License DPR-6, Docket 50-155, dated Dece=ber la,1975, pertaining to the operability and surveillance require-ments for the modified fuel sipping system.
By letter dated Januar/ 1E, 1976, Consumers Power Cc=pany detailed the evolu-tion of the request and specified our cenclusion that the use of the modified fuel dry sipping system does not constitute an unreviewed safety question.
Additional phene conversations with your staff have corroborated the fact that incorporating operability and surveillance require =ents for the =cdified ' fuel dry sipping syste= into the Big Rock Point Technical Specifications is unnee-essary.
