This letter is submitted in response to the subject IE Bulletin for the SNUPPS Utilities, Kansas Gas and Electric Company and Union Electric Company. SNUPPS has conducted an investigation to determine if any active valves planned for use in safety-related systems have valve parts cast by the Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc. No such valve parts have been
' identified, but 'the investigation is not complete. A final Bulletin response will be submitted within 30 days.
