DOCKET IMS. 50-266 AND 50-301 RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN NO. 80-21 POINT BEACH NUCLCAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 As discussed in our initial bulletin response dated

,ecember 4, 1980, we have contacted and received responses from the eighteen manufacturers we identified as having supplied active valves in safety-related systems at the Point Beach Nuclear Plant.

In all cases the manufacturers were able to notify Wisconsin Electric Power Company that they had either never purchased any valve part castings from Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc. or had supplied no valves for the Point Beach Nuclear Plant with valve parts manufactured by Malcolm Foundry Company, Inc.

Accordingly, we have identified no active valves in safety-related systems having potentially faulty material and consider our response to the subject bulletin completed.

Very truly yours, m
