By letters of December 3,1980 and January 6,1981, the process control program (PCP) was submitted for NRC review. Table 1 lists the various forms of radioactive liquids, resins, and Hitman system beds which must be processed for Farley Unit 2.
This table includes the primary processing method with a reference to applicable procedural guidance.
In addition, as listed in the table, a backup processing method is also included if the primary method is not workable or is undesirable. We wish to emphasize, however, that the resulting end product to be shipped offsite for burial will fully comply with applicable burial ground requirements regardless of the method used.
