,y a cFebruary 5, 1976 contained two infractions. A respcase detailing corrective action taken or planned was requested. This letter provides the requested response.
Infraction The requ:.lification program did not include preplanned lectures in those areas -
g where results of the 1974 annual operator exams indicated an emphasis in scope and depth of coverage was needed.
Corrective Action The 197h and 1975 annual exa=s have been reviewed n. sreas of review. These areas have been identified as (1) Features of Facility Design, (2)' Several Op-ert. ting Characteristics, (3) Miation Control and Safety and (h) Fuel Handling and Core Parameters. Materis ' on these areas vill be scheduled into the future weekly sessions. It may be in e_asting to note that the lov areas of concern I
in the 197h exa=s were not repeated in the results of the 1975 exa=s.
The annual exans vill be revieved, overall and by category, to detemine areas of concern. These shall be included in future training sessions.

in April 1976 class sessions, as well as all future sessions.
Infraction Written examinations were not provided during the one classroom day per five weeks portion of the 1973-1975 retraining cycle, to deteredne the operators knowledge of subjects covered and to provide a basis for evaluating their kncv-ledge of abnormal and emergency procedures.
