PEPPITS By letter, dated Septecter 11, 1980, San Diego Gas and Electric Ccmpany, applicant, withdrew its application to ccnstruct and operate the Sundesert Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2.
The site was lccated on the mesa in the Palo Verde Valley in the southeastern corner of Fiverside County, approximately 16 miles scuthwest cf Blythe, California.
By Order, dated December 22, 1980, the NRC's Atomic Safety and Licensing Ceard dismissed the preceeding.
Accordingly, the Consission censiders the Sundesert construction permit application to be withdrawn and the correspending licensing preceeding to be terminated.
Correspcodence concerning this application will continue to be maintained at the Comission's Public Cccument Rocm,1717 H Street, N.
V., Washingten. D. C.
