Dear Governor Hughes:
The nine counties of the Eastern Shore held a joint meeting on November 20th in Dorchester County. All counties were represented by their Coninissioners.
Various topics were discussed, among those were the dumping of the water from Three Mile Island.
It was unanimously approved by all the counties that we oppose this dumping until such time that we have been appraised of any effect that this will have on our Bay waters.
At this time the information and stories from the news media can only keep us in a state of confusich We would appreciate your continuing to stay on top of this situation and seeing that local officials are advised at all times.
