This is in response to your request dated December 12, 1980 for a nineteen day extension to reconcile the physical inventory of Icw enriched uranium currently scheduled for the week of December 29, 1980.
We have determined that your request is within the intent of 10 CFR 70.51(e) and it will not endanger the contnon defense and security and is otherwise in the public interest.
Therefore, notwithstanding the equiremer.ts of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(4), the licensee shall comply with *e. equirements of 10 CFR 70.51(e)(4)(i) through (v) for the Decembo, i980 physical inventory by February 16, 1981.
