Dear Mr. Stewart:
Tnis is in partial response to your letter of December 16, 1980 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of all correspondence and all documents relating to correspondence or communications between the NRC and Thomas Madden of Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays &
Handler (F01As-80-515,80-516, and 80-555).
Please find enclosed the documents listed on Appendix A.
At this time, only one of the three requests, F01A-80-516, has been closed.
The documents which pertain to this request will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room (PDR),1717 H Street, N.W., Washington, DC, by Friday, January 9,1981. The remaining documents indicate, by F0IA number, dates and listing of documents which have been released to Mr. Madden's office. These documents will not be placed in the PDR until the requests are completed.
As agreed upon in your telephone conversation of January 7,1980 with Ms. Sarah N. Wigginton of my staff, you will be sent copies of our transmittal memoranda as documents are released to Mr. Madden in the future.
