Reportability of Construction Incident This is to confirm our telephone conversation of January 9,1976, related to a construction core drilling incident on January 8, 1976, in which three lighting circuits in the containment building were disabled.

Based on the following considerations, we mutually agreed that the incident is non-reportabic.

1.

Safety-related circuits were not jeopardized.

2.

The drilling activity had been reviewed by the engineer / contractor prior to implementation, and the possibility of contacting embedded lighting circuits was also recognized by the plant project engineer.

Following a review of this incident by the Plant Review Committee on January 8 and January 9, a work hold was placed on certain construction activities at 1600 hours0.0185 days <br />0.444 hours <br />0.00265 weeks <br />6.088e-4 months <br /> on January 9 until a more detailed evaluation of potential interface problems could be made by the plant project engineer with subsequent review by the Plant Review Committee.
