Dear Mr. Giambusso:
Your letter of October 29, 1973 transmitted the " Technical IIeport on Anticipated Transients Without Scram for Water-Cooled Power Reactors" and requested that we inform the staff by January 1,1974 of the approach we intend to take with regard to that report. We agree with the Section IIC assignment in Appendix B of the Technical Report of both the Palisades and Big Rock Point Plants.
We are currently engaging a consultant to perform a detailed review in accordance with Appendix A, Section IIC, and will submit de-tailed reports concerning the Palisades and Big Rock Point Plants by October 1, 197h.
