Enclosed please find an application from Pacific Pumps. Inc. for a license to export miscellaneous specially designed components for coolant pumps to India for use at the Tarapur Nuclear Power Plant.
Before taking action on this license application, we would appreciate your views, in accordance with established procedures and from the overall perspective of the Executive Branch, as to whether the proposed export meets the applicable cri'eria in the Atomic Energy Act as amended by the Nuclear Nonproliferation Act of 1978.
