EXTENSION OF EESPONSE TO EtiERGENCY POWER SUPPLY GENERIC ISSUES By letter dated July 20, 1977 Consumers Power Company, ce=mitted to providing a detailed analysis of facility design features, proposed Technical Specifications and plant modifications based on the Safety Evaluation and Statement of Staff Positions concerning on-site emergency power systems.
Due to unforeseen prob-less in developing the studies, a major refueling outage at the Palisades Flant and manpower requirements brought upon by the Systematic Evaluation Program, the completion date of the project has had to be extended. Thus, it is ex-pected that the analysis vill be completed by May 1976 at which time a thorough response will be submitted for both the Big Rock Point and Palisades Plants.
