Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
This is to confirm the telephone call to Robert Martin (NRC) at 1510 on December 9, 1980 by Mr. W. G. Hairston, III (APCo).
As a result of evaluations required by IE Bulletin 80-11, an investigation has determined that some drviations from design exist in Unit 2 Auxiliary Building concrete block walls (i.e., some vertical reinforcing and accompanying grout was omitted).
An evaluation is in progress to determine for Units 1 and 2 the extent and consequences of these deviations. This condition is being reported under the potential applicability of Technical Specification 6.9.1.12.i.
