Wisconsin Electric Power Company (Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos. 1 and 2),
Docket Nos. 50-266 and 50-301
Dear Sir:
On November 18, 1980, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission published in the Federal. Register an Order for Modification of License concerning the Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Unit Nos.
1 and 2.
The Order provided that the licensee may request a hearing with respect to the Order on or before December 8, 1980.
On behalf of Wisconsin Electric Power Company, we re-spectfully request an extension of the period within which we may request a hearing until January 8, 1981.
The purpose of the requested extension is to allow the Company to develop a better understanding of the requirements called for by the-Order.
This in turn will allow a more reasoned determination fool s
