Operating License No. DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 Modification to Tech Spec Change Request 70. 53 On Acril 28, 1977, Met-Ed submitted Technical Specification Change Reauest (TSCR) No. 53, which consisted of five sections.
Section 3 requested a correction to the nomenclatute that describes the analvsis used to determine radioactive contamination o'
.he secondary coolant due to primary to secondary leakage.
Pe.elephone discussions with your staff the following change to TSCR No. 53 was requested to footnote (3) on page 4-10:
When th tross activit.f in 5a increases by a factor of two above bace. ground, an iodine analysis will be made and per-formed thereafter wl.en the gross beta-camma activity increases by 10 percent.
With this letter Met-Ed agrees and approves this change.
Please note that TSCR No. 53.2 is no longer needed in that the change was received in Amendment No. 29.
