Dear Mr. Reid:
On October 24, 1980, you transmitted to the District your comments on the Rancho Seco Safeguards Contingency Plan (Amendment No. 7 to the Security Plan), originally transmitted to NRC by the District on December 17, 1979.
On October 9,1980, Messrs. R. Moore and J. Hiltz, representing the District, met with Mr. M. Padovan (NRC) and flessrs. B. fianili, D. Matthews, and J.
Ennis of NMSS.
It was agreed at that meeting that the District would submit our response to your comments, in the form of revised pages to our plan, on or about December 15, 1980.
The purpose of my letter is to confirm that the District will respond, as indicated above, to your corrents when we submit Amendment No. 8 to our Security Plan on December 15, 1980.
