ENCLOSURE PLANNED CHANGS FOR THE TVA TCPICAL REPORT (TVA-TR75-1)

REFERENCED IN THE BROWNS FERRY NUCLEAR PLANT FINAL SAFETY ANALYSIS REPORT TVA Topical Report (TVA-TR75-1) paragraph 17.1 A.11 3 " Construction Testing" (pg.17.1 A-61), change to read as follows:

Various electrical and mechanical tests are performed in accordance with written procedurer for preliminary tests.

These tests are normally performed prior to the properational tests. Final detailed procedures for preliminary tests are reviewed and approved by CONST.

Construction testing is performed under direction of CONST engineers with operators and test assistance provided as required by NUC PR.

The NSSS vendor provides instructions and directions as required by TVA for systems within the NSSJ vendor's Scope of Supply. The Division of Engineering Design (EN DES) provides technical assistance as required. Test objectives are defined by the testing procedures.

Approved construction procedures and testing instructions prescribe the conduct and documentation of installation inspection activities to assure system and/or subsystem completeness prior to the formal preoperational tests. The preliminary test results are evaluated onsite at time of test by CONST with assistance as required from the NSSS vendor. EN DES engineers are available to assist with evaluation as needed.

NOTE: The planned changes are indicated by the vertical line in the right hand margin.
