..,a APPENDIX B NOTICE OF VIOLATION Public Service Company of Colorado Docket No. 50-267 Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating Station Based on the results of the NRC Health Physics-Appraisal conducted June 16-27, 1980, it appears that one of your activities was not conducted in full com-pliance with NRC-requirements as indicated below. This item is an infraction.
Technical Specification AC 7.1.1 states, in part, "Each member of the facility staff shall meet or exceed the minimum of qualifications of ANSI N18.1-1971 for comparable position, except for the Senior Health Physicist who shall meet or exceed the qualifications of Regulatory Guide 1.8, September 1975."
.Section C of Regulatory Guide 1.8 states, in part, that the Radiation Pro-tection Manager should have at least five years of professional experience in applied radiation protection, of which at least three years should be in
. applied radiation' protection work pertaining to nuclear power stations.
Contrary to the above requirements, the. incumbent Radiation Protection Manager, appointed to this position on June 13, 1980, possessed significantly less than three years of applied radiation protection work related to nuclear power stations.
