.f9 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION South Carolina Electric and Gas Company License No. CPPR-94 V. C. Summer Based on the NRC inspection August 5-8,1980, ~ certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full' compliance with NRC requirements as indicated
~below.
These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Criterion V_ of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50 and implemented by the FSAR, Paragraph 17.1.5,. " Activities affecting quality shall be pre-scribed by documer ted instructions,' procedures,...and shall be accomplished in accordance with those instructions, procedures,..." Daniel Construction Company Construction Procedure. WP-VII-09 Revision 10 " Installation of Piping", Paragraph 3.2.5 requires pipe weld end preparation and fit-up to conform to GAI Drawing C-301-002, Contrary to the above, a fit-up condition involving excessive mismatch not in accordance~ with the requirements of GAI Drawing C-301-002 was accepted by Daniel Construction Company quality control inspector for Weld FW-14 on ISO CC-25 in the component cooling system.
This is an infraction.
