Dear Mr. Keppler:
Reference (a) transmitted the Commonwealth Edison Company LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2 initial response to-the request for information contained in the Reference (b) transmittal of IE Bulletin 80-16.
In our initial response, we stated that the NSSS vendor (GE) would' evaluate their application of the transmitters described in the. bulletin and provide corrective actions where problems'may exist'.
Due to the complexity of this issue, the GE' evaluation has not yet oeen dumpleted.
This evaluation will be completed-and-the results submitted to the NRC prior to the LaSalle County-Unit 1 fuel load date.
