Byron Station Units 1 and 2 Request for Additional Time to Respond to IE Inspection Report Nos. 50-454/80-12 and 50-455/80-11 NRC Docket Nos. 50-454 and 50-455
Dear Mr. Keppler:
Commonwealth Edison Company requests an additional ten (10) days to respond to your letter of September 16, 1980, regarding the subject inspection report.
That report identified an apparent item of noncompliance with NRC requirements, specifically with regard to emergency diesel generator design.
Commonwealth Edison's supplemental response will be submitted by October 29, 1980.
Please address any questions that you might have concerning this matter to this office.
