Dear Mr. Keppler:
In References (a) and (b), Commonwealth Edison Company responded to items of noncompliance identified in IE Inspection Report Nos. 50-454/80-09, 50-455/08-08, 50-456/80-04, and 50-457/80-04 In those responses Commonwealth Edison indicated that a technical assessment of the coating requirements for repair spot welds on UNISTRUT hangers would be available by October 15, 1980.
However, at this time the supplier has not yet completed his study in sufficient detail for an assessement by Commoawealth Edison.
A completed study by the supplier and a technical assessment by Commonwealth Edison are now anticipated to be available by December 15, 1980.
