Enclosed is a copy of the exercise report for the October 11, 1989, full-participation exercise of the offsite radiological emergency response plans, site-specific to the'Callaway Nuclear Power Plant. W e State of Missouri and the Counties of Callaway, Gesconade, Montgcznery and Osage participated fully in the exercise. We report was prepared by Region VII of the' Federal Dnergency Management Agency (FDR).

Four deficiencies were identified for Callaway County. All four deficiencies cited were able to be remedied through appropriate plan ancyor procedural changes.

%ere were also sixteen Areas Requiring Corrective Action (ARCA) identified i

during this exercise for the State of Missouri nrd its affected counties.

FD% considers that offsite radiological emergency preparedness is adequate to provide reasonable assurance that appropriate measures can be taken offsite to protect the health and safety of the public living in the vicinity of the site, in the event of a radiological emergency. %erefore, the approval of the offsite plans for the State of Missouri, site-specific to the Callaway Nuclear Power Plant granted under 44 CPR 350 on July 9, 1985, continues to be in effect.
