CORRECTIONS TO TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE REQUEST - REACTOR VESSEL PRESSURE / TEMPERATURE LIMITS Upon initial Staff review of Consumers Power Company's Technical Specification Change Request submittal dated January 10, 1990,.concerning reactor vessel pressure / temperature limits, it was identified that information was inadvertently i

omitted from Figures 4.1(a), 4.1(b) and 4.1(c). This information was conveyed to Consumers Power Company by a January 16, 1990 telephone conversation with' the Big Rock Point Project Manager.

l This letter submits the corrected Big Rock Point Technical Specification Figures 4.1(a), 4.1(b) and 4.1(c) as an Attachment.' The statement clarifying i

the Hydrostatic Test temperature limits in relation to the Power Operation definition found in Technical Specification Section 1.2.1 has been correctly returned to Figure 4.1(a). Hydrostatic test temperature data points had been i

inadvertently included in Figure 4.1(a) and have been removed. Labelling of the primary coolant pressure axis had been inadvertently omitted from Figures 4.1(b) and 4.1(c). The correct labeling is shown on the attached curves.

The Technical Specification Change Request submittal dated January-10, 1990, neglected to explain that the previous convention of drawing curves for multiple heat-up and cool-down rates on Figures 4.1(a), 4.1(b), and 4.1(c),

has been changed to show only one curve per condition. This has been done to 9001310270 90012?
