Limerick Generating Station. Units I and 2 Submittal of a Revision to the Physical Security Plan issue 2. Rev. 5, October,1995
Dear Sir:
This letter submits, in accor dance with 10CFR 50.4(h)(4)(iii). four (4) controlled copies of the scrised Limerick Generating Station (LGS) Physical Security Plan. The revisions are detailed in the summary of the Plan revisions.
This revision is being submitted in accordance with 10CFR 50.54(p)(2), and has been dektmined not to decrease the effectiveness of the LGS Physical Security Plan or Plant Security Personnel Training and Qualification Plan. The changes to the Physical Security Plan retlect changes associated with 1) the recent revision to 10CFR 73.55(d)(8) that climinated access control measures at Reactor Containment, 2) elimination of the iequirement for armed security force members to be subjected to metal detector search upon subsequent entries into the Protected Area, and 3) the reduction in Sallyport manning requir ements.
In accordance with 10CFR 73.21, we request that the enclosed revisions to the LGS Physical Security Plan, w hich contain Safeguards Information, be withheld from public disclosure and protected as described in 10CFR 73.21. This revision to the Physical Security Plan is numbered October 1995, Isse: 2, Rev. 5.
