Page 2 of 3 This modification is issued to:
(1) exercise the One-Year On-Call Maintenance option, (2) provide funding 'in the amount of $5,000.00 to exercise the fixed price option, (3) extend the work completion date for enhancement of the Alert Notification System per contractor's letter request dated September 15, 1989, and (4) extend the period of performance end date of the contract through February-14,1990 in order to exercise the on-call maintenance option. Accordingly, the contract is modified as follows:

Subsection B.1, Brief Description of Work, under "0PTIONS", item no. 2 entitled "One-Year On-Call Maintenance" is hereby being exercised.
Therefore, B.1 is revised to add the following:
"The contractor shall provide on-call maintenance of the NRC's Operation Center's Alert Notification System from February 15, 1990 through February 14, 1991; Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
The firm fixed price of this effort is $5,000.00. Work shall be performed in accordance with Section C.1.2, " Scope of Work," paragraph V entitled " Maintenance Agreement (Option)".

Subsection B.2, CONSIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--FIRM FIXED PRICE (MAR
'1987) is revised to read as follows:
"B.2 CONDIDERATION AND OBLIGATION--FIRM FIXED PRICE (MAR 1987)
The firm fixed price of the basic contract is $84,395.00.
The firm fixed price of enhancements to the NRC Operations Center's Alert Notification System under Modification 1 is $25,890.00.
The firm fixed price of the One-Year On-Call Maintenance exercised under this modification is $5,000.00.
The total firm fixed price of the contract is $115,285.00.
Payment will be made upon completion / delivery and acceptance of all required products / services."

Modification No. 1 of this contract added work to the Scope of Work. A work completion date was established for the additional effort.
However, due to scheduling problems, the work completion date had to be extended until October 11, 1989.
Therefore, on page 3 of Mod #1, last paragraph, the second sentence is deleted in its entirety and the following substituted in lieu thereof:
"All work shall be completed by October 11, 1989."

Subsection F.1, DURATION OF CONTRACT PERIOD (MAR 1987) ALTERNATE III (MAY 1987), is revised to read as follows:
"Although the Government contemplates use of the system (s) (hardware and software) for the system's life of 3 years from date of installation, the term of this contract is from Septmber 20, 1988 through February 14, 1991."
All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.
