ilVMAfi FACTORS REVIEW 0F GRAND GULF CONTROL ROOM The purpose of this memo is to suggest a rescheduling of the HFEB visit to the Grand Gulf control room. Dased on recer.t discussions between Joe liartore, the LPM, and Domenic Tondi regarding information you require before your visit, we feel that a scheduled visit on January 5-9, 1981 would not allow sufficient time for applicant response.
In view of this recent request, and'considering the status of control room completion required for a comprehensive HFEB review, we agree that a visit on
!! arch 9-13,1981 is preferred. Based on a commitment by Domenic Tondi to provide the HFED SER input to us within 6-8 weeks after the control room visit, we feel that although the Grand Gulf SER milestone schedule will not be met, the overall licensing schedule will not be adversely impacted.
Accordingly, we have notified the applicant of a March 9-13,1901 liFEB control room visit.
