Marble Hill Nuclear Generating Station - Units 1 and 2 Order Confirming Suspension of Construction
Dear Mr. Stello:
This letter is in response to your letter of May 15, 1980, identified as the " Graduated Rescission of Order Dated August 15, 1979."
Public Service Indiana has completed all requirements ~ identified in Items A, B, C, D and E of the above-referenced letter for the Cherne Contracting Corporation (CCC) and Commonwealth-Lord JV (C-LJV).
On November 10-12, 1980, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) survey team performed a survey of Public Service Company of Indiana, Inc. (PSI)
ASME program. The ASME survey team found PSI's ASME Program and its imple-mentation acceptable and will recommend to the ASME Subcommittee on Nuclear Certification that PSI be issued en "N" Certificate of Authorizetion.
Based on the foregoing activities, PSI hereby requests written notification to resume construction activities as provided in Itr.m E.3 of your Fby 15, 1980 Order with' respect to mechanical and piping construction activities by CCC'and electrical construction activities by C-LJV.
Your cooperation and timely response in this matter will be appreciated.
