In response to a Notice of Violation for noncompliance item A as stated l
in your letter to Mr. William Cavanaugh III, dated October 23, 1980, the following additional information is provided.
RESPONSE
Thank you for the clarification concerning "being responsible for" as stated in the reference letter.
The Plant Safety Committee (PSC) will either review or approve the review of site QA Audit Reports that are required by AN0 Procedure 1000.02, Plant Safety Committee Operation.
To assure continued compliance, the PSC Chairman will receive a copy of site OA Audit Reports for PSC review in accordance with AN0 Procedure 1000.02.
Full compliance has been achieved.
Inspection Report 50-368/78-04 which is referenced in your October 23, 1980 letter stated that an NRC position was being developed to clarify the interpre-tation of "being responsible for".
Please provide a copy of this position clarification to the ANO General Manager as soon as it is available.
