12, Df $CE# TION CF a u(NQangNT/ enCCIF tCATION Pursuant to the terms delinaated in Article I, Task 3, of the subject contract, the following amendment is made:
1.
Delete paragraph (a) under Tast A and ;ubstitute therefore the following:
(a)
Develop a strategy for implementation of alternative two (II)--
Two-Tier Manual.'jstem of ' Final Report 2--Task I and final Task 2 Report.
Consider NRC priorities, existing operating environment, necessary equipment acquisition procedures and associated delays in delivery by vendors, conversion of existing procedures and data, testing of systems and procedures, and training of NRC personnel.
2.
Requirer.ents under Article I, 4.0 Deliverables, Phase I, Task 3 Report are deleted and the following substituted therefore:
The contractor shall submit a draft report to the Project Officer i
within two (2) months from the effective date of this modification.

The Contracting Officer will provide the Contr?ctor with comments within ~ three (3) weeks.aftar recaipt of the draft.
Based upon these comments, the C: ntractor shall revise the draft and shall submit the final version of the Task 3 Report to the Project Officer not later than two (2) weeks after receipt of the Coctracting Officer's ca. amen ts.
3.
Article II - Pericd of Performance is deleted and the following substituted therefore:
The period of performance for Phase I shall be from the effective date of the contract.through September 14, 1981 at which time all work pertaining t.o Tasks 1 through 3 shall have been completed and all reports shall have been delivered to the NRC. The total duration of this ' contract should the NRC decide to exercise each option in full.or in part shall not exceed eighteen (18) months from the effective date of the contract. All contractual tern.; and conditions shall apply during the option period including the option clauses.
4.
Delete Paragr<ph A. under Article IV - Consideration and Payment and substitute -therefore the following:
1.
It is estimated that the total cost to the Government for performance of Tasks 1 through 3 of this contract shall be $46,000.00 of which the sum of $42,996.00 represnets. the estimated reimbursable costs, and of which $3,004.00 represents the fixed fee.
2.
There shall be no adjustment in the amount of the contractor's fixed fee by reason of differences between any estimate of cost for performance of the work under this contract and the actual cost of performance of that work.
3.
The amount presently obligated by the Government with respect to this contract is $46,000.00.
This modification increases the total estinated Cost Plus Fixed Fee under this Contract by $8,300.00 from $37,700.00 to $46,000.00.
