This letter is written in response to your letter of April 2,1981, which transmitted Inspection Report STN 50-482/91-04.
As requested, the violation is being addressed in three parts :
a)
Corrective steps walch have been taken and the results achieved; b)
Corrective steps which have been or will be taken to avoid further violations; and c)
The date when full compliance will be achieved.
Finding Receiving inspections did not verify whether de certified material test in reports for cortain bolting materials met the specified requirements, that, the repor*s were accepted but did not include the required heat treatment information.
Paspense a)
The vendor was contacted and verified that the heat treat-ment in compliance with ASME SA449 had been performed but that a typographical error had resulted in the deficient mill test repott. A notarized ccrrected mill test repor-was subsequently received from the vendor.
