-Q South Texas Project Units 1&2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-499 Interim Reoort on IE Bulletin No. 80-21 Bulletin No. 80-21, received November 10, 1980 is being reviewed by Houston Lighting & Power Company. Thus far, no valves planned for use in safety-related systems have been identified as being constructed of parts cast by Malcolm Foundry. However, to allow all safety-related valve sup-pliers for the South Texas Project tc affectively evaluate this concern, a report will be submitted to your office by February 17, 1981. This report will fully close this concern if no Malcolm Foundry parts are found or will describe any necessary actions taken per tM Nauirements of the subject bulletin if Malcolm Foundry parts have been found.
