LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION, COMBUSTION ENGINE I INC. (WINDSOR FACILITY), DOCKET 70-1100 The license renewal application of the Combustion Engineering, Inc. (CE),
Windsor Facility (Docket 70-1100, SNM-1067) has been received and our review has begun.
Tne review schedule has been prepared along the lines of the " Agreement on Interface and Division of Responsibility Between NMSS and IE."
We shall work with you in our review in accordance with the " Plan for Licensing Review and Inspections Related to Major Licensing Actions for Fuel Cycle Facilities" which is footnoted in the Interface Agreement.
Itjor milestones in our review schedule include the following:
1.
Completion of the initial safety reriew April 13,1981 2.
Completion of the initial project manager review May 4,1981 3.
Site visit June 5,1981 4.
Applicant response to NRC comments August 10, 1981 5.
Completion of final safety reviews September 28, 1981 6.
Completion of final project manager review October 12,1981 7.
Complete draft of Integrated Safety Evaluation Report (SER)
November 2, 1981 8.
Prepare final SER November 23, 1981 9.
Issue renewal December 14, 1981 We should like your comments and recommendations on the renewal application, notification of your scheduled inspections of the CE facility, and, in general, to take action required by the plan to meet the above scheduled rdlestones.
